About The Position

Astronics Corporation is seeking a dynamic Senior Corporate Recruiter to spearhead strategic initiatives for attracting and hiring diverse talent across our multi-site organization. This pivotal role offers the flexibility to work remotely, based near any of Astronics' U.S. locations including East Aurora, NY; Kirkland & Kent, WA; Portland, OR; Irvine CA; Chicago, Waukegan, IL and Orlando, FL; or within 30 miles of any major airport. The position requires up to 25% travel to collaborate with our teams and stakeholders, with potentially higher frequency during the initial onboarding period. Job Summary: As a Senior Corporate Recruiter, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for both corporate and site-based positions, utilizing AI-based recruitment tools and optimizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). You will collaborate closely with HR teams and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with business needs and ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 6 years of corporate recruiting experience, ideally within a multi-site manufacturing or engineering organization. Experience within the Aerospace sector is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered recruitment tools and best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.
  • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test including cannabis screening.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for corporate and site-based positions, from requisition creation to onboarding.
  • Deploy and optimize AI-based recruitment tools to source, screen, and engage qualified candidates effectively.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of ATS platforms, train staff on system usage and best practices.
  • Ensure recruiting processes adhere to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, with special focus on multi-state regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers across all Astronics sites to align recruiting strategies with business needs and workforce plans.
  • Monitor pipeline metrics, AI tool performance, and ATS reports; deliver data-driven insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Support initiatives to enhance the company's employer brand in talent markets, including digital presence and candidate experience.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment activities using technology and standardized practices.
