Summary Provide comprehensive legal support with particular emphasis on LVHN's Clinical Integration Network (CIN), Managed Care, and Payor Contracting efforts. This Counsel position will serve as a trusted business partner and problem solver on a wide range of strategic, operational, corporate and compliance matters. This position will collaborate and work closely with LVHN senior leaders, management, operational, and other staff. Additionally, as a member of the LVHN legal team, the Counsel Position will help lead the fast-paced and wide-ranging legal services and affairs of LVHN and its affiliates.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school, be an active member in good standing of the Bar
  • 10 years healthcare law experience with regulatory, managed care and contract drafting, review and negotiation experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements, accreditation processes, commercial payors and federal/state managed care and Medicare and Medicaid
  • Licensed Attorney - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days

Responsibilities

  • Counsel the operational teams and executive leadership for CIN, managed care and other contracting and operational efforts.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify and manage risk across CIN, Managed Care and Payor Contracting business teams.
  • Directly support the following business teams: Clinical Integration Network (CIN), Managed Care, Payor Contracting, Populytics, MSO functions, TPA functions and other teams, as assigned.
  • Provides comprehensive legal counsel, representation, and oversight on the wide range of legal matters affecting LVHN related to the full range of managed care transactions
  • Provide legal and operational support for the development and oversight of the strategic monitoring plan for evaluating the performance of the CIN, Managed Care, Payor Contracting and other contracting and operational functions.
  • Works with program leaders to identify and resolve regulatory and contractual compliance related risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provides recommendations for risk mitigation strategies and solutions to senior leadership.
  • Provide legal and operational support for the development, implementation and periodic review and updating of the CIN and any winddown of corporate structures or operational functions to be assumed by the CIN.
