About The Position

Senior Corporate Accounts Payable Coordinator Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including our Global Finance Org., Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal Team, Strategy and Corporate Development Team, and People & Places Org. The Corporate Accounts Payable Invoice Processing Team is part of the Global Finance Org. division of Expedia Group. Senior Corporate Accounts Payable Coordinators are responsible for processing corporate-related invoices for all of Expedia's businesses globally. As a member of this high-performing team, this invoice data-entry role will provide you with the opportunity to serve and influence employees and suppliers on a global scale. Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience
  • Familiarity with Oracle (strongly preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of processes and controls within Financial Operations/Accounting
  • Task oriented individual performer who enjoys collaborating with peers on complex, global circumstances
  • Love to take on problems, find root-causes, strive for constant improvement, and utilize the right mix of data and wisdom to help you make smart business decisions
  • Flourish with being productive, efficient with a passion to grow
  • Curious and constantly ask "why?"

Responsibilities

  • Review and enter invoices into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for multiple legal entities and currencies
  • Understand the various components of invoice entry to ensure accuracy (i.e. global tax, general ledger coding, approval requirements etc.) as we operate within global complexities making no two days alike
  • Interact directly with suppliers and internal customers while providing prompt and professional responses to inquiries. We have the rare opportunity to make life easier for our colleagues
  • Utilize Salesforce, Oracle and Microsoft Office suite of applications with opportunities to engage in reporting systems and industry tools to grow your skills
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and best-in-class customer service by recommending initiatives to improve processes, craft efficiencies, eliminate manual touchpoints, build relationships, and improve the customer/supplier experience
