About The Position

Zocdoc’s most important asset is our people. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping how Zocdoc is verbally experienced across digital channels. This role is responsible for developing high-quality, brand-aligned copy that supports both product and marketing initiatives. By translating strategic goals into compelling narratives, a Senior Copywriter ensures consistency across all touchpoints, strengthens brand voice, and helps communicate Zocdoc's mission with clarity and creativity to both internal teams and external audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter or content strategist in agency or in-house settings.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and familiarity with SEO best practices; experience with AI writing tools is a plus.
  • Experience with brand voice consistency across all materials, measured by brand audit scores.
  • Experience utilizing user engagement metrics for written content, measured by click-through rates, time spent on pages, and conversion rates.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, proactive communication, comfortable in collaborative settings, has a self-starting mindset and endless curiosity.
  • The ability to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to automate tasks, foster innovation, and maximize productivity
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related major.
  • Humility. You believe in treating all people with dignity and respect, regardless of title or tenure

Responsibilities

  • Implementing verbal branding guidelines and maintaining a consistent brand voice across various channels.
  • Creating copy for marketing collateral, including digital campaigns, website content, and program materials.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand voice consistency in all communications.
  • Writing and refining copy for selected user interface elements and digital product experiences.
  • Maintaining and updating copy libraries, messaging frameworks, and content guidelines.
  • Presenting copy concepts and creative rationales to stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and evolving copywriting tools.
