About The Position

We’re looking for a seasoned copywriter who can bring clarity to complexity — someone who understands that in healthcare, words do more than inform, they empower. You know how to take dense clinical data, regulatory requirements, and complex health topics and turn them into messaging that feels human, clear, and trustworthy. This is a fast-paced, production-heavy role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and knows how to balance creativity with compliance. You'll work across multiple touchpoints — from patient-facing campaigns to provider content — and help bring healthcare stories to life in ways that connect and convert.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of professional healthcare copywriting experience, agency or in-house.
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA standards and best practices in handling patient data and writing within regulated environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of healthcare content, from digital campaigns to patient and provider-facing materials.
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging to different health literacy levels and target audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills — you’re used to fast-paced production and managing multiple projects.
  • Collaborative mindset — you’re a team player who thrives on feedback and iteration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hospital systems, health tech, or payer-side communications.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality, compliant copy for a wide range of healthcare deliverables: websites, email campaigns, brochures, display ads, video scripts, patient education materials, and more.
  • Translate complex medical information into accessible, plain-language content that supports a range of audiences, including patients, caregivers, providers, and payers.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, project managers, and subject matter experts to develop content that is not only accurate, but empathetic and actionable.
  • Lead concepting and storytelling for integrated healthcare campaigns across B2C and B2B.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to brand voice, tone, accessibility, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Juggle multiple deadlines and fast-turn projects with grace, clarity, and focus.
  • Edit and refine your work and the work of others for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Participate in team brainstorms, client presentations, and feedback reviews.
  • Mentor junior writers and support internal reviews as needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of healthcare and wellness, with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, engaging, and on-brand creative
  • Experience working with healthcare or wellness brands, with a genuine passion for the space and a thoughtful approach to patient-centered communication
