About The Position

Supports Universal Kids Resort (UKR) Team Members by serving as the point of contact in the administration, processing, and dissemination of information including but not limited to: employee relations, internal staffing movement, benefits, payroll, training and development opportunities. Promotes a positive work environment and serves as the first contact point for Team Members in issue identification and resolution where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required, preferably in Employee Relations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Schedule flexibility required with availability to work on weekends, holidays, or evenings.
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

Responsibilities

  • First-line support related to any employee relations issues. Gathers information, evaluates, responds when appropriate and/or refers to Generalist and/or Manager for further investigation and follow up as needed.
  • Responds to general inbox inquiries.
  • Acts as a liaison with core HR partners and provides general information to Team Members on policy interpretation, EAP concerns, Benefit/Payroll/Records inquiries and staffing needs.
  • Ensures employment requisitions are opened and maintained.
  • Maintains current organizational structure by completing Personnel Change Request (PCR), Organizational Change Request (OCR).
  • Maintains relevant reports, spreadsheets and databases. Assists with the creation of new reports as needed.
  • Reviews employee relations cases, creates case file in database, and when needed, researches historical documentation related to cases.
  • Administers job related transfer process for all open positions.
  • Executes internal offer process, requests release dates from home venue, and partners with Compensation for pay rates. Partners with TA for out-of-division transfers.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
