About The Position

Global Time & Labor Management (TLM) is seeking a strong candidate focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. The TLM team is responsible for ensuring timecards are accurate and compliant with RTX policies, and Federal and State Labor Laws. This position will support timekeeping process improvements, be involved in system implementations, collaborate with business partners across the enterprise, and assist the team with problem resolution and daily timecard needs. The role also involves working ServiceNow tickets from internal and external customers, requiring research, calculations, analysis, and data entry to support labor processes. The Time & Labor Management team operates in a high volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for continuously expanding responsibilities.

Requirements

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
  • In the absence of a degree 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, and WorkDay with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize task to manage workload effectively with effective problem solving and decision-making skills to promote work efficiency
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment

Responsibilities

  • Work ServiceNow tickets from internal and external customers, requiring the ability to conduct research and perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support labor processes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation for assigned tasks, regularly reviewing and refining documentation to reflect process changes, best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics to other RTX departments, employees and supervisors.
  • Perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process including continuous checks for work accuracy to detect and correct errors within current responsibilities.
  • Calculate and process employee final paychecks daily by reviewing and reconciling timecards, including vacation or paid time off balances.
  • Provide effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with other RTX departments to guarantee precise responses and seamless operations.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with federal & State wage and hour laws and RTX policies.
