About The Position

The Boeing Supplier Management Commercial Training Solutions team is seeking a Senior Contracts Procurement Agent to join the team in Seattle, WA. This position will focus on supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Training Solutions. The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills. This role involves negotiating and executing supply chain agreements, supporting sourcing strategies, and managing pricing and lead-time negotiations for services. The agent will engage with executive leadership, present on contractual risks, opportunities, and issues, and follow Boeing procurement processes to issue purchase orders. Collaboration with internal teams and proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders are required. The role also includes gathering data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ or more years of related work experience in Procurement or Supply Chain processes
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • 5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience leading managing projects
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Experience with interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field
  • Experience with industry SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Experience in a self-directed role

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and execute supply chain agreements in support of Commercial Training Solutions Services.
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documentation of contracts and agreements.
  • Supports pricing and lead-time negotiations for services.
  • Engages with executive leadership and presents on contractual risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Follows Boeing procurement processes to issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts and services.
  • Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customers’ requirements.
  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
