About The Position

NSI‑MI Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of AMETEK Inc., is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to support and manage the company’s Contracts, Subcontracting, and Import/Export Compliance activities. This position serves as both a primary and secondary point of contact for contract-related matters and works closely with external customers and internal stakeholders, including Sales, Procurement, Program Management, Legal, Security, Corporate Compliance, Export/Import, and Operations. The Senior Contracts Administrator will support the Director of Contracts in all aspects of customer contracting and subcontracting, including contract review and negotiation, purchase order and contract processing, regulatory compliance, and contract documentation management. The role will also support the Senior Contracts and Export Control Manager with import/export compliance activities, including export licensing, product classification, Carnets, and international/domestic shipments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Contracting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in contracts and/or subcontract management.
  • 2+ years of experience in International Contracts; EU, UK, Australia and Asia
  • 3+ years of experience in import/export compliance, including ITAR/EAR and DSP-5 licensing.
  • Strong working knowledge of: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) ITAR and EAR Commercial contracting vehicles including BPAs, FFP, T&M, and MPAs
  • Experience supporting contracts and programs for U.S. Government, State, Local, and international customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to: Draft, analyze, and interpret complex contractual language Navigate and comply with U.S. export control regulations Organize work and develop efficient, repeatable processes Manage multiple contracts and subcontracts simultaneously Communicate effectively across all organizational levels

  • Due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies’ programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of contract administration from proposal development through contract closeout for U.S. Government and international commercial contracts.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, administer, and maintain contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements in accordance with FAR, DFARS, agency-specific acquisition regulations, NSI‑MI/AMETEK policies, and commercial best practices.
  • Maintain and track all contract-related documentation throughout the order fulfillment lifecycle.
  • Review, complete, and manage Certifications and Representations (Certs & Reps) for all customers.
  • Review, negotiate, and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Support proposal development efforts by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including preparation of required representations and certifications.
  • Participate in or lead negotiations of contract and subcontract terms and conditions, as well as Teaming Agreements and other third-party agreements.
  • Analyze and implement contract flow-down requirements; provide guidance on regulatory matters including TINA, CAS, proprietary data protection, and small business goals.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain Small Business Subcontracting Plans; monitor and ensure timely and accurate reporting within the eSRS system.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with customer portals and systems, including ARIBA, EXOSTAR, and JOSCAR.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Program Management, Procurement) to mitigate contractual risk and resolve contract-related issues.
  • Utilize and maintain standard templates, including Price Negotiation Memorandums (PNMs), RFIs, subcontracts, and related contractual documents.
  • Ensure all contract and subcontract actions are properly documented in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Lead the negotiation, award, and administration of major subcontracts, purchase orders, and contract amendments.
  • Partner with the Director of Procurement to support negotiation of terms and conditions for purchase orders, modifications, and amendments.
  • Assist in obtaining export licenses (e.g., DSP‑5, TAAs) for international sales of U.S. Department of Commerce- and State-controlled items.
  • Support classification of products under ITAR and EAR; serve as a backup resource for classification activities.
  • Review contracts and purchase orders to ensure compliance with NSI‑MI/AMETEK policies and applicable import/export regulations.
  • Assist the Senior Contracts and Export Control Manager with Carnet documentation and international shipment processing.
