About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to support a leading Spirits portfolio by providing research, context, and strategic framing that informs studio work. Operating at the intersection of brand priorities, audience behavior, and platform dynamics, this role translates masterbrand objectives into clear recommendations that guide creative briefs, integrated content development, and below-the-line execution — impacting how brands meet consumers at key points along their purchase journey. You are a strong communicator and systems thinker working across Accounts, Creative, Social, and leadership who can interpret client briefs, surface underlying needs, and distill complex information into practical guidance for creative teams. You bring clarity to ambiguity, and an expert at translating brand priorities and audience context into structured outputs that help the studio produce more relevant and effective work. This client-facing role sits within the studio’s leadership team and collaborates closely with both internal leaders and client stakeholders to drive strategic alignment across projects.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years experience in content strategy, brand strategy, or related roles
  • Proven experience leading or owning creative briefs
  • Strong ability to translate complex or unclear inputs into structured, actionable outputs
  • Experience working across integrated campaigns, including BTL execution
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively driving work forward
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Confident, client-facing communicator with presentation experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in improving workflows and exploring new tools, including AI

Responsibilities

  • Monitor brand and competitor activity, platform developments, audience behavior, and category shifts to identify relevant signals and emerging patterns.
  • Present findings to internal teams and clients to support alignment and inform ongoing work.
  • Produce and lead weekly insights that synthesize research into clear takeaways for studio teams and clients.
  • Lead studio in translating data and performance into actionable recommendations that inform playbooks and creative execution.
  • Develop and contribute to creative briefs by translating brand objectives, audience behavior, and platform context into clear strategic direction for studio teams.
  • Work closely with leads and client to clarify inputs, identify gaps, and translate incomplete or unclear briefs into structured recommendations that can be actioned by the studio.
  • Present strategy to studio and clients to support alignment with creative execution.
  • Lead the development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of playbooks across a range of outputs that guide content planning, execution, and platform approach across the portfolio.
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounts, Creative, Social, and leadership teams to support active projects and initiatives.
  • Lead studio initiatives, such as daily business, newsroom discussions, lunch & learns, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve outputs, strengthen briefs, and elevate studio work.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-supported workflows that improve how the studio develops creative and strategic materials.
  • Test, implement, and document processes that streamline research using AI-supported systems, brief development, and content planning.
