Senior Content Strategist Location: Miami, FL or Durango, CO (HQ) / Remote for the right candidate Reports to: Marketing Director The Opportunity At Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, we believe life is better with a little bit of cocoa and a lot of craft. We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist who shares our passion for storytelling, just as we share our passion for chocolate. You will be the architect of our brand’s voice and the Marketing Director’s right hand, ensuring our messaging is as consistent and high-quality as our copper-kettle caramel. From high-level brand development to the fine details of a social campaign, you will lead our creative team in delivering content that resonates with chocolate lovers and franchisees alike. What You’ll Do Core Strategy & Brand Development Finalize Brand Evolution: Review current materials and conduct discovery to establish our industry positioning and finalize our editorial tone. Master Documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive Brand Guides, including an editorial "style book" with samples and a specific guide for our franchise partners. Strategic Roadmap: Work with the Marketing Director to translate business goals into a cohesive content roadmap across digital, social, retail, and print channels. Omnichannel Execution Digital & E-commerce: Realign rmcf.com page content, product descriptions, and collection stories to support the new brand message. Retail & Print: Ensure a seamless experience between online and physical stores by aligning store signage, shelf-talkers, and printed collateral. Internal Portals: Oversee content for the Franchisee Portal and our Fundraising platform to ensure brand alignment at every touchpoint. Campaigns & Communications Multi-Channel Campaigns: Lead ideation for social media and ad campaigns, ensuring every post or seasonal catalog feels authentically "RMCF". Email Strategy: Manage diverse email streams for general consumers, potential franchisees, and existing franchise partners. Scripting & Support: Develop written and verbal scripts to help franchisees deliver a consistent brand experience during customer interactions. Who You Are The Seasoned Pro: You have 5-7+ years of experience in marketing and content creation (corporate-level experience or agency experience is a plus). The Strategic Thinker: You can understand and explain the why behind the content strategy and how it fits into the larger marketing funnel. The Natural Leader: You enjoy managing people and projects, and you know how to give constructive feedback that levels up the entire team. The Perfectionist: You have a "confectioner’s eye" for detail. Typos and off-brand visuals don't make it past your desk.
