Tulip, the leader in frontline operations, is helping companies around the world equip their workforce with connected apps, leading to higher quality work, improved efficiency, and end-to-end traceability across operations. Tulip has also been named one of Energage’s Top Workplaces USA and one of Built In Boston’s “Best Places to Work” and “Best Midsize Places to Work” for 2024. About You: We’re looking for a tenacious Content Marketer who brings hustle, autonomy, and creativity to our content engine. You’re not just a writer, you’re a powerhouse contributor: you put in the hours, generate concrete ideas, and follow through with hands-on delivery. You know how to transform rough concepts into polished, effective assets across formats and channels. You balance big-picture thinking with the humility to collaborate, take feedback, and communicate with clarity and respect, even when your vision differs from others around the table. We want someone comfortable with both strategy and execution: If you’ve always been the resource people count on to push through roadblocks, develop your own angles, and produce outstanding editorial work, while still supporting alignment, structure, and system building, this is your next home.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in writing for technical audience and content strategy, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant marketing/writing field required. Higher education is preferred.
  • Proven record of high-volume content creation in a paid context: journalism, marketing, thought leadership, or related fields.
  • Ability to self-direct and operate as a “content workhorse”: you drive projects, research, and ideas through to completion with minimal handholding.
  • You communicate complex concepts clearly, both in writing and when advocating for your point of view with stakeholders.
  • Not just a dreamer, an executor. Your ideas are interesting, actionable, and you know how to bring them to life.
  • Ego in check. You’re confident in your skills, yet collaborative, feedback-driven, and mission-focused.
  • Familiarity with content management and workflow systems, preferably having built them.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Content at Scale: Consistently write, develop, and ship long-form pieces, including writing blogs, case studies, and digital assets that elevate Tulip’s visibility and leadership.
  • You don’t wait to be told: you proactively dig for stories, surface new content ideas, and execute with speed.
  • Contribute Bold Ideas: Bring your unique perspective to brainstorms and strategy sessions, then turn abstract themes into actionable content plans. You know when to advocate for your vision and when to adapt/collaborate.
  • Own Content Systems: Help architect, document, and improve scalable processes for creation, review, publication, and measurement. You think about content as both art and product, balancing creativity with workflow efficiency.
  • Balance Ego with Empathy: Champion and debate your content decisions thoughtfully, focusing on what will drive the best results and not just your personal preferences.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketers, engineers, product teams, and leadership to source information, vet stories, and build truly valuable, distinct assets.
  • Measure and Optimize: Relentlessly monitor the impact of your work; help shape what systemic improvements will further boost overall output and quality.
  • Write for Pay, Deliver for Impact: You take pride in being a professional writer (fast, reliable, and business-minded) valuing both creative satisfaction and measurable business outcomes.
