Appian is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Customer Success team, focusing on the Public Sector. This role involves engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, driving digital transformation and competitive differentiation. The consultant will work through the entire project life-cycle to define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients within an agile environment. Key tasks include understanding client business processes and technical needs, launching relational data models, developing APIs for system integration, brainstorming and implementing AI use cases (RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, generative models), and collaborating with client technical teams and business users. The goal is to empower clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications. The position is based at Appian's HQ in McLean, VA, with an expectation of being in the office 4-5 days per week to foster in-person collaboration and teamwork.
