About The Position

QWA is responsible for all design thinking activities throughout the Advisory Practice service offerings. QWA demonstrates expertise to map out business processes and compare to best practices to find efficiencies and new solutions for clients. We work with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts (SME’s), providing leadership and holistic solutions for cross-functional business groups specializing in the Human Capital Management domain. While the role is not required to have in-depth, hands-on technical expertise, although highly desirable, the role does require someone with a passion for technology and enhancing the user experience. It is crucial that the person has a strong passion to learn and systematically absorb and document market intelligence of the tech ecosystem, and continue to grow their expertise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking with strong abilities in relationship management, working with demanding stakeholders, and driving change adoption by applying expertise in building empathy and relationships with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in research and distilling complex information, advising, and leading, consensus building and influencing, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and using consulting frameworks and methodologies.
  • A sound understanding of emerging talent technology solutions and trends
  • Demonstrated track record of continuous learning
  • Ability to solve technical and business problems and effectively present conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems and meet project deliverables
  • Advanced in leading client discussions and driving project teams to decision consensus
  • Demonstrated competency in self-discipline and independently completing project deliverables
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management and/or collaboration tools, specifically MS Office, Mural, Smartsheets and EverHour
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50%

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Human Resources or HRIS Technology domain
  • Preferred industry experience within a RPO, TA or HR program, B2B Talent, HR sales or delivery
  • Preferred client facing consulting experience
  • Superior presentation and storytelling ability to lead workshops and client presentations
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Act as the lead point of contact representing QuantumWork Advisory from project kick-off through closure.
  • Act as the key bridge to understand business requirements and build empathy with the user experience to identify the optimal technical and service design solution.
  • Research and Analysis
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the current process, operational design and technology challenges and define a clear and agreed problem statement.
  • Gain insight into client requirements and business needs. Conduct on-site or virtual workshops with customers to validate requirements and gain consensus around project scope and plan.
  • Oversee and support data collection, analysis, and solution design phases.
  • Leveraging design thinking method and philosophy, understand and capture the needs of the customer through an outside-in lens
  • Conduct interviews and surveys, existing process maps and technology diagrams to
  • Work with the team to develop a journey map to understand pain points
  • Tenaciously question, challenge assumptions, and analyse information to diagnose the root of an issue, design optimal solutions, and assess short- and long-term impact of recommendations.
  • Service and Technology Design
  • Design and recommend solutions that improve the user experience.
  • Recommend either optimising current technologies or implementing new technologies across the talent acquisition cycle including ATS, CRM, Search and Match, AI and Automation, Scheduling and Marketing tools.
  • Leverage their excellent working knowledge of the talent cycle and recruitment processes and how they are best supporting by technology.
  • Build a clear technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Product Development
  • When not working on client projects contribute to the development of the Advisory Practice by developing playbooks, methodologies, and toolsets to ensure each project is seamless and as efficient as possible.
  • Proactively identify best practices form the market and work with leadership to meet and exceed these benchmarks

  • Research and document industry trends & technologies
  • Provides consultation on technology best practices and trends
  • Project Management
  • Provide project leadership on advisory projects and manage resourcing and work allocation.

  • Ensure each project meets profit margin targets.
  • Technology
  • The role is a key conduit between business needs and more technical requirements. (It is expected for highly technical requirements, specialist resources would be engaged within the project to support this role).
  • Analyze clients’ business and technical challenges and design comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into customer environments.
  • Provides consultation to internal and external leadership on technology best practices and trends.
  • Recommends appropriate courses of action to technology vendors and leadership on technical issues.

  • Constantly identify opportunities for advisory projects to support the client on their Worktech digital transformation journeys.
