About The Position

Senior Construction Inspector ATI has a current need for a full-time Senior Construction Inspector for complex, multimillion dollar construction projects. Work will be at Redstone Arsenal in Madison County, Alabama. Duties and Responsibilities Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Observe and identify construction deficiencies, and advise as to appropriate corrections; Review and comment on Contractor submittals; Review and comment on Contractor workplans; Review and comment on Contractor RFIs; Observe Contractor performance daily and record/report on observations; Attend meetings as required; Inspect Contractor plant, materials, and equipment daily; Review Contractor QC Reports daily; Take photographic documentation as appropriate; and Review Contractor punch lists Required Qualifications and Experience The candidate must have significant experience of performing field inspections on the full range of construction activities necessary to construct the project and support necessary contract administration tasks; More than 10 years of experience as a construction inspector on large complex multimillion dollar projects - DoD or federal construction projects are a plus. Experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process, EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual, and the Resident Management System (RMS) is preferred; Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; Position requires frequent and recurring construction inspections, which include walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of professionalism; and Candidates must be US Citizens and must be able to obtain a government clearance Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000/year depending on qualifications and experience Location : Redstone Arsenal in Madison County, Alabama. Requirements
