About The Position

The Senior Compensation Consultant serves as a strategic partner and subject matter expert on compensation design, market competitiveness, and pay governance. This role leads complex analyses, advises leaders on compensation decisions, and supports the development and administration of enterprise-wide compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. The Senior Compensation Consultant operates with a high degree of independence, providing guidance on compensation strategy, pay structures, survey benchmarking, and regulatory compliance. This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states: DC, DE, FL, GA, MD, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV

Requirements

  • 8 years of progressively responsible compensation experience, including market pricing, salary structure development, job evaluation, and compensation program design.
  • Proven experience consulting with HR Business Partners, leaders, and executives to deliver data‑driven compensation recommendations and influence decision‑making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in compensation within the healthcare or hospitality industries is strongly preferred, including support of complex, multi-site organizations.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
  • Advanced proficiency in compensation technology and analytics tools, including Payfactors, advanced Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas), and familiarity with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
