Under the general direction of the Outreach and Communications Supervisor, the Senior Communication and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for disseminating information to agency staff, customers, and the public through various communication strategies. This role involves leading communication strategies to promote agency programs, developing and managing media campaigns, and producing internal and external communications materials such as newsletters and annual reports. Key responsibilities include attending community events, managing advertising campaigns within budget, developing storytelling materials to highlight the agency's impact, assisting with website content development, maintaining industry best practices in graphic design, and representing the organization.
