About The Position

IMEG is hiring a Senior Commissioning Authority to lead commissioning (Cx) services on a wide range of building types, including large and complex projects, while also supporting retro-commissioning and energy assessment efforts. In this role, you’ll manage Cx planning, documentation, design reviews, field observations, functional testing, issue management, and reporting—working closely with owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams. Advance your career by delivering high-performing building systems that meet owner requirements and industry standards. Commissioning Team Highlights IMEG provides Commissioning (Cx) and Retro-Commissioning (Retro-Cx) services to verify that building systems are designed, installed, and functioning according to the owner’s requirements and industry standards. In new construction, IMEG’s commissioning agents work from the design phase through occupancy, developing commissioning plans, performing equipment inspections and functional testing (for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, etc.), and resolving any issues to ensure systems perform as intended. For existing buildings, their retro-commissioning process investigates and tests current systems to identify operational improvements or corrective actions that can restore or enhance performance. By ensuring proper system integration and calibration, IMEG’s Cx and Retro-Cx services help clients avoid energy waste, reduce maintenance headaches, and extend equipment life. IMEG’s commissioning focus aligns with providing safe and comfortable environments for occupants while maximizing efficiency.
