Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Requirements
- Current PA State Property and Casualty insurance producer license and minimum of 5 years previous agency or company experience.
- Thorough knowledge of basic lines of insurance coverage and products.
- Familiarity with the Commercial Lines Manual and specific coverage forms.
- Interpret rate making and proven ability to operate company specific rating software.
- Professional appearance, strong mutual and communication skills, positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Provide front line service for book of business assigned to you by anticipating and addressing to customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow established agency policies and standard operating procedures.
- Interpret policy coverage, rates as required, and make changes as appropriate.
- Coordinate the marketing and placing of coverage with direction from Account Executive.
- Communicate, meet, and interact with company personnel as appropriate.
- Accountable for maintaining company underwriting, rating, marketing, bulletins, forms, and correspondence for company(ies) assigned and distributing information within the agency as necessary.
- Maintain and sustain good customer and company relations.
- Communicate and interact with client by phone, in person, or in writing.
- Prepare proposals, finance terms as required.
- Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
