About The Position

As a Senior Commercial Enablement Associate on the Commercial Enablement team, you will play a critical role in driving sales success through strategic learning programming & content design that achieves mastery for partner facing teams. As we continue to evolve and expand our Instacart Ads Ecosystem, we are hiring a Senior Commercial Enablement Associate specializing in our Sales teams’ best in class motions and processes. This individual contributor role will partner with our Sales and cross-functional (XFN) teams to build the Vertical Sales teams Enablement roadmap and develop all pillars of Enablement (Content, Training, Sales Process & Methodology, and Certifications). This highly cross functional role will partner with other Enablement peers and XFN teams to ensure our Sales teams have what they need to achieve their revenue goals. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with Sales teams as well as partners in our Commercial Excellence and Instacart organization - Insights, Media Analytics, and Sales Operations and Marketing. Together, our cross functional collaboration will ensure all key pillars of enablement—content, training, narrative creation, and sales process and methodology—are addressed to support best in class Sales Motions and go-to-market (GTM).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with fast paced, high volume, high impact sales or account management teams within an advertising platform, agency or organization
  • 3+ years experience in an Enablement, L&D, PMM, Ad Sales, Account Management, Strategy, Ad Agency or Operations role
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong project / program management skills
  • Experience with digital advertising
  • Basic understanding & experience with buying / selling digital advertising as part of a retail media network
  • Strong sense of curiosity and desire to roll up your sleeves in order to partner and learn

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on your assigned Sales Vertical team(s), cultivating in-depth understanding of Sales team(s) goals, priorities, customer persona(s), sales processes and workflow
  • Develop and own the specific Sales Vertical team(s) Enablement roadmap by identifying, prioritizing and coordinating Sales team(s) needs and trainings
  • Design and execute comprehensive enablement training programs including interactive live training for large group audiences, office hours, and the creation of dynamic, digestible content resources.
  • Identify, document and train Sales on best in class processes and motions (e.g, Annual Planning, Account Planning)
  • Write and prepare training content to develop Sales skills, methodology usage, and ongoing industry intelligence
  • Tailor training and content with Enablement and cross-functional XFN partners to ensure relevancy to each Sales team
  • Partner with manager on key initiatives that require discovery, content development, training, competency measurement and cross functional collaboration
  • Partner with external training partners to design programs and ensure flawless program execution and learning success
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with Sales team members and XFN partners
  • Proactively identify learning gaps / needs and recommend Vertical Enablement roadmap adjustments throughout the year
  • Measure the success and impact of programs as related to Sales readiness, needs and certifications through data driven insights and tools provided to you
  • Represent the voice of the Sales team(s) Account Executives or Managers at all Sales Enablement meetings and in collaborative work
