Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with expertise in machine setup and operation
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated success in machining precision parts for military and aerospace applications.
- Required expertise in reading mechanical drawings and precisely interpreting tolerances and GD&T specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of machining centers and controllers, with specific expertise in Makinos and Mazaks.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to adapt to change and embrace new technologies
- Be willing to be part of the company’s change in growth
- Be eager to take on challenges and not sit on the sidelines
- Be self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Set up and run multiple machines
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and propose innovative solutions
- Embrace new technologies and stay updated on industry advancements
