Why This Role Matters The Senior Client Strategy Director serves as a strategic adviser for the Client Strategy across the Americas. This role partners closely with the Executive Team—including the CEO—to drive best‑in‑class relationship management, long‑term growth, and coordinated stewardship of the firm’s most significant clients. The position also works across Client Strategy to set multiyear priorities, lead top‑client review processes, and ensure that insights from the Americas are fully represented in global strategic planning How You'll Make an Impact Executive Partnership & Strategic Leadership Partner with the Americas Executive Team to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen top client relationships and maximize commercial opportunities. Advise on when and how to strategically deploy senior executives in client interactions to maximize impact. Serve as a senior member of the global Client Strategy leadership team, contributing to global frameworks, reviews, and long term planning cycles. Top Client Strategy Design and implement holistic, forward looking engagement and growth strategies for the firm’s highest value clients across the Americas. Ensure each client receives tailored and proactive service, informed by market and collector insights. Identify sourcing opportunities spanning near term consignments and long horizon masterpieces or major collections. Regional Client Strategy Leadership Set long term regional priorities aligned with global strategy and commercial targets. Lead the Americas’ Top Client Review processes, ensuring comprehensive analysis, actionable plans, and rigorous progress tracking. Conduct regional sourcing reviews to assess coverage, identify opportunities, and drive collaboration. Proactive Client Management & Insight Development Analyze client portfolios to anticipate needs, uncover risks, and identify new opportunities across business channels. Guide cross regional teams in developing future ready strategies. Global Collaboration & Integration Ensure Americas insights are integrated into global planning cycles. Drive implementation of global client development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in client strategy, account management, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of the global art market and its key figures.
  • Proven experience driving strategies for high value clients and working with senior executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
