About The Position

The Senior Client Manager has overall accountability for all aspects of delivery and account management for their aligned client portfolio. Responsible for leveraging cross-functional area leadership to ensure exceptional business results are delivered. The Senior Client Manager guides the direction of the client decision making process beginning at implementation and throughout the relationship.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of client relationship management with project management experience/exposure managing multifaceted projects and teams, including on-site and virtual management.
  • Have Individual (pre-Medicare and Medicare) industry experience. Operate with intermediate knowledge of Individual (pre-Medicare and Medicare) business, including products and services, operations, and delivery.
  • Be currently licensed in your state to sell Health Insurance, or able to attain the license within 6 months of being hired.
  • Have excellent communication, relationship development, negotiation, and issue resolution skills with C-Suite Executives and Key Client/Broker contacts.
  • Possess individual Insurance compliance and regulatory and legislative industry knowledge. Have experience in HR services, business management, Medicare, and healthcare.
  • Display subject matter expertise of group health plan administration best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Managing new client implementation, ongoing client management, contract adherence and renewals, and relationship expansion opportunities.
  • Serving as the primary client contact is accountable for the client/partner relationship, representing all aspects of the Alight Retiree Health solution. Being an advocate and connector of capabilities, support, and/or services for clients.
  • Being the subject matter expert in Group Benefit Delivery standards and individual Marketplace (Affordable Care Act and Medicare). Leveraging this expertise to guide client and internal decisions, ensuring optimal client and retiree satisfaction.
  • Persuading, motivating, and inspiring action toward desired outcomes. Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize product, service, and delivery outcomes to ensure overall client success and retention.
  • Developing and building meaningful and trusted relationships across internal teams, customer stakeholders, and key influential third-party stakeholders.
  • Acting as a change agent and seeking out and pursuing new ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Tracking and managing daily tactical issues. Ensuring customer satisfaction with services provided, resolves operational issues affecting client relations and manages loss risk.
