Drive the global Facilities high spend capital category and serve as the primary liaison for assigned suppliers. Drive external engagement with equipment, off-site manufacturing, fabrication suppliers, and subcontractors, managing these relationships through advanced sourcing techniques, models, and processes to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality goods and services. Recommend sourcing requirements and execute strategic procurement initiatives. Develop and implement supplier strategies that optimize cost efficiency, supply continuity, and quality. Conduct commercial qualification activities to support the strategic development of suppliers and maintain collaborative relationships while proactively resolving performance and capability issues to align with Micron’s strategic goals. Communicate key supplier updates and decisions to Executive Leadership, serving as the voice of the supply base within Micron. Create category strategies for each segment, leading sourcing events, RFx processes, and negotiations with a focus on savings targets and contract compliance. Manage supplier performance in partnership with the Global Facilities team, integrating site-specific priorities and building a comprehensive view of supplier effectiveness. Collaborate internally to define and monitor key performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement across strategic suppliers. Coordinate and deliver strategic supplier engagements, including Annual Supplier Evaluations and Executive Review Meetings. Implement equipment category strategies and provide market intelligence and pricing trends to internal stakeholders at a regular cadence. Apply globally benchmarked should-cost models for assigned categories. Drive procurement for offsite manufacturing and subcontractor categories, sharing insights with key partners and Indirect teams to enhance planning, forecasting, and execution. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field, followed by 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a related occupation. Requirements

  • Bids and proposal management, quantity surveying experience in large scale EPC projects
  • Developing category strategy for cost effective and best quality solutions
  • Facilities equipment, OSM and subcontract package management

  • Bid analysis, should-cost and market data analysis

Responsibilities
