Role Summary The Senior Category Manager (IC) leads complex sourcing initiatives and enterprise-level category strategies across Enterprise Operations, including Facilities, Construction, Loss Prevention, Architecture & Engineering, Logistics/Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, and Supply Chain Innovation, and related operational services. Enterprise Procurement resides within Finance – Global Business Services and manages >$9B in annual indirect spend across Retail, PBM, Insurance, Specialty, Clinical, and Corporate. This role is Hybrid at Woonsocket, RI location (2-3 days in office) & requires travel up to 15% for supplier meetings and site visits.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Project Management.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ariba.
  • Experience in Enterprise Operations categories.
  • CPSM, CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain category strategies and sourcing pipeline.
  • Lead complex RFx and negotiations.
  • Conduct total-cost negotiations.
  • Lead supplier performance routines.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to operations leaders.
  • Leverage Ariba sourcing/contracting tools.
