About The Position

Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire one (1) full-time Senior Cancer Screening Coordinator. This position is a hybrid position. Do you want to help individuals who are uninsured or underinsured access lifesaving breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services? Are you ready for a role that promotes health equity across Pennsylvania? As a Senior Cancer Screening Coordinator, you will identify and address barriers that individuals face when accessing lifesaving health care. In this role, you have the opportunity to support individuals in navigating the healthcare system to ensure they are connected with the programs, services, and supports they need, including breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic testing, and treatment services. You will manage patient billing, provider billing questions, and claim status requests to ensure efficient billing and communication processes. You will also use best practices and your exceptional communication skills to conduct outreach, training, and program education to diverse individuals, community organizations, health systems, and healthcare providers to expand the reach of the cancer screening program.

Requirements

  • Experience in case management, patient navigation, care planning, customer services, and medical care enrollment processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to create data collection tools
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and report data
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, public administration, or another related field preferred
  • Community engagement/outreach experience required, preferably in a healthcare/public health environment.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in healthcare, health promotion, or a public health environment
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and communicate medical information to all Spanish speaking individuals.
