Engineering Operations (EngOps) ensures the Microsoft Cloud is reliable, secure, and ready, operating as an integrated, continuously learning organization. EngOps uses a closed operational loop where incidents, risks, telemetry, and customer signals drive improvements in code, platform, and standards, which are then verified and scaled across Azure and Microsoft Clouds. The team designs solutions to prevent issues, embeds AI-powered automation, and converts signals into actions for measurable customer impact, fostering a culture of empowerment, inclusion, and growth mindset. This role seeks a Senior Business Program Manager for Learning and Development to deliver high-impact learning and listening programs and analysis for the EngOps organization. Operating in a fast-paced, global environment, this position is crucial for building capability and curating employee and organizational health signals to maintain EngOps' operational excellence as the business and industry evolve. Reporting to the Chief of Staff for EngOps, the role involves close partnership with the EngOps chief of staff, Business Management & Operations (BMO) team, EngOps leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. The goal is to drive high-impact Learning & Development and establish a robust listening system where leaders continuously listen, learn, and act on employee feedback. Key responsibilities include enabling AI-centered learning and technical skilling through clear, repeatable rhythms to help employees build in-demand capabilities, and leading ELS/Signals analysis to synthesize inputs into actionable guidance that scales across teams, regions, and communities.
