The MCX ((Mobile, Compute, XR, WMSS, Small Cell, Infrastructure) Business Operations team oversees end‑to-end operations for the business unit, including demand planning and execution, supply build planning to minimize E&O risk, safety‑stock management, wafer‑start recommendations, and reporting/analytics. We are seeking a proactive, results‑driven Business Operations Analyst, Senior in San Diego with strong expertise in supply‑demand execution, advanced data analytics, and cross‑functional decision‑making. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to simplify process, reduce manual effort, and accelerate AI adoption —while also driving operational excellence, influencing strategic decisions, and leading initiatives that improve forecasting accuracy, supply/build plan/allocation efficiency, and overall business performance. This role will partner closely with Regional Sales & Customer Service, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Finance, Program Management and broader QCT organizations to support the complete MCX BU Operations process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6+ years of business operations or related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building and deploying AI/ML‑based business solutions (e.g., LLMs, agents) or implementing workflow automation using tools such as n8n or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Rapid Response, and Tableau to manage and interpret large, complex datasets.
  • Knowledge or hands‑on experience using AI or related tools for forecasting, classification, reporting, or process automation.
  • Experience in strategic demand and supply planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Background in semiconductor sourcing, finance, business operations, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills and effective planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT, BPA, and cross‑functional teams to leverage AI/Copilot tools for forecast accuracy, risk prediction, trend detection, and supply‑demand optimization. Drive automation of data analysis and reporting to reduce manual effort.
  • Execute the end‑to-end monthly BU forecast process, ensuring accurate inputs, thorough scenario evaluations, and on‑time delivery of key reports.
  • Analyze product‑ and customer‑level supply, demand, backlog, allocation, and risks; identify gaps and recommend solutions to maintain business continuity.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Finance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and Regional teams to align on demand, supply, and allocation decisions.
  • Support cross‑functional teams’ ad hoc requests by delivering accurate data analyses and reports.
