About The Position

The purpose of this role is to drive new business growth for Booking.com for Business in the United States by identifying, engaging, and converting organisations that require frequent employee relocation or temporary accommodation. This includes industries such as healthcare staffing, consulting, construction, insurance displacement, and media production. The position is focused on acquiring and developing new accounts, building long-term partnerships, and expanding Serko’s market presence within the corporate travel and lodging sector. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of the travel industry and hotel commission economics to deliver revenue growth, optimize client value, and strengthen the strategic partnership between Serko and Booking.com for Business. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on identifying opportunities, closing deals, and earning through performance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or SaaS sectors.
  • Strong understanding of hotel distribution models, commission economics, and corporate travel procurement.
  • Experience selling into sectors that manage frequent relocations or temporary accommodation needs (e.g., healthcare staffing (e.g. traveling nurses), insurance displacement, construction, professional services, or entertainment).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and comfortable with a commission-based, performance-oriented sales structure.
  • CRM proficiency (Hubspot, Salesforce or similar).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and acquire new business customers within target industries.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies to drive adoption of Booking.com for Business.
  • Build a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and partnerships.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of Serko’s travel technology and Booking.com’s accommodation offerings to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements in line with revenue and commission targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and account management teams to optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Track, report, and forecast sales performance using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on travel industry trends, hotel commission structures, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategy.
