About The Position

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Ambyint, you will drive both net-new business and expansion opportunities with existing customers, playing a critical role in growing the adoption of Ambyint’s SaaS solutions. You will build and deepen executive-level relationships while increasing market share through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach. This role involves navigating complex, high-impact sales cycles and partnering closely with Exploration and Production organizations to meaningfully improve operational performance across the Oil & Gas sector.

Requirements

  • 8 -10 years experience as a Business Development/Account Executive
  • Demonstrated sustained success in overachieving sales quota / targets
  • Trained in effective sales methodologies (i.e. Value Selling, Challenger, Solution)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an industry-related field
  • Experience working in the oil and gas vertical, preferably upstream
  • Experience selling Software (SaaS) & Services to enterprise customers
  • Enthusiasm in O&G operations/production, innovation and AI technology

Responsibilities

  • Complete in-depth territory strategies and account planning (i.e. larger complex customers)
  • Develop a tiered prospecting strategy to identify prospects and build a robust pipeline
  • Execute sales strategies aligned to Ambyint’s sales process ensuring rapid deal velocity
  • Own and manage large complex sales cycles, tailored to various personas across operations/productions
  • Build and maintain strong executive and business relationships
  • Partner with Implementation to ensure smooth solution integration/implementation
  • Partner with Customer Success to execute retention best practices (ie. regular performance reviews)
  • Partner with Marketing to attend industry conferences, networking events and lead generation
  • Support Head of Global Business Development and CCO with special assignments and go-to-market strategies
