What You'll Do Drive consistent pipeline and revenue growth by building executive-level relationships with Athletic Directors and senior administrators across DII, DIII, and NAIA institutions Own the complete sales process—from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, proposal development, and contract execution Conduct 40-50+ meaningful prospect conversations per quarter, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor who understands Non-D1 operations intimately Partner strategically with Territory Leads to align on market insights, share competitive intelligence, and ensure cohesive communication across the sales organization Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with 3-4x coverage of quarterly quota through disciplined prospecting and relationship development Master Teamworks products (Hub and Compliance & Recruiting primary; Influencer and EMR secondary) and articulate their value to budget-conscious decision-makers Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes and help senior administration understand ROI and implementation strategy Represent Teamworks at industry conferences and events, expanding your network and establishing thought leadership across DII, DIII, NAIA, and other non-DI divisions What You'll Bring Must-haves: Extensive experience serving in a senior-level athletic administration role (Athletic Director, Deputy AD, Senior Associate AD) at a Non-DI institution—ideally DIII or with strong DIII connections Direct experience purchasing and implementing Teamworks products; deep familiarity with how to secure campus buy-in for technology investments Comprehensive understanding of athletic department operations, budgets, decision-making processes, and the unique challenges facing Non-D1 programs Proven ability to build authentic, trust-based relationships with Athletic Directors and executive leadership at the collegiate level Track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets in a competitive, metrics-driven environment Comfort with rejection, persistence through setbacks, and maintaining optimism during long sales cycles Nice-to-haves: Experience in a revenue-generating or business development role, particularly in SaaS or sports technology Established network within DII, DIII, and NAIA athletic administration communities Familiarity with consultative, strategic selling methodologies Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members Background working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced sales organization Who Thrives Here You're a credible insider who can speak authentically to Athletic Directors because you've lived their reality—you understand tight budgets, competing priorities, and the challenge of securing campus buy-in.
