About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives and scaling our offerings in the R&D sector. You'll leverage your deep industry knowledge to cultivate client relationships and spearhead new business opportunities. The role is pivotal in shaping our commercial strategy and ensuring alignment across internal teams. Success in this position will contribute directly to advancing our market presence and achieving substantial revenue growth within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or related field preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in business development roles selling R&D, clinical, or regulatory services.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets (typically $3–4M+).
  • Deep experience engaging with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, or related R&D stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success winning complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving change management.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed scientific and operational environment.

  • Position and sell R&D, clinical, and regulatory solutions to decision makers across multiple functions.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities using a consultative, value-driven sales approach.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying unmet needs and engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advance strategic client relationships that foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Leverage deep domain knowledge to shape distinguished client solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to design high-impact proposals and solutions.
  • Ensure effective execution of enterprise go-to-market strategy pertaining to R&D offerings.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management leading to accurate forecasting and opportunity progression.
