About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to large size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 3-5 yrs. related experience
  • Demonstrated skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel and Access is required.
  • Knowledge of key business, financial and accounting metrics and principles.
  • Ability to engage and lead team discussions and meetings.
  • Understands team dynamics and works well within a team structure.
  • Delegates responsibilities effectively.
  • A mastery of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities as necessary.
  • Able to manage large, complex projects.
  • Uses time effectively.
  • Ability to make presentations about new strategies, trends in the industry, and company performance.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Visual Basic / VBA, a plus.
  • SAP/BI, a plus.
  • Experience using relational databases and database extraction tools desirable.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft, Phocas, Salesforce.com or High Jump is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary project lead and support for all assigned projects
  • Serve as the primary project lead and liaison for new opco implementations and BT projects
  • Ensure that the correct tools and training are utilized to solve the most important problems affecting our opco’s productivity
  • Responsible for the gathering, testing, training and documentation of business, functional, and non-functional requirements by partnering with internal operations teams, sales teams, BT, Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Drive communication in all project phases- including planning, documentation and training
  • Work to ensure appropriate BT staff is involved in escalated operation issues
  • Manage system access and provide monthly reports to opco and corporate finance teams
  • Prioritize and approve project request and ensure consistency
  • Serve as the primary liaison between opco merchandisers and corporate SMS teams
  • Serve as the backup lead for all systems installs, moves, upgrades etc.
  • Serve as the primary lead for Secure32 (check printing) to insure all enhancements and security are implemented
  • Serve as backup lead and support for opco security access control
  • Serve as primary lead for wireless request and approvals
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business
