About The Position

Artemis is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to support a large-scale, nationwide project management, business process improvement, information management, communications and outreach, and records management contract for the federal government. The Senior Business Analyst provides enterprise-level business management, data analytics, and strategic support to the client. This role supports operational efficiency, business transformation, executive reporting, and data-driven decision-making across a global military blood supply system. The Business Analyst role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience supporting federal clients, preferably within the Department of Defense, business transformation efforts, and strategic planning initiatives. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude. This is a contingent hire position. The Business Analyst will be required to work on-site in Falls Church, VA. Travel for meetings will be required. The expected compensation at the time of requisition creation, is between $115,000 and $125,000. The position offers with medical, dental and vision coverage. Requirements

  • 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proven analytical skills with strong ability to interpret data, draw insights, and identify patterns.
  • Proficient technical skills in data analysis tools, business intelligence platforms, and process modeling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to use problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting. Generate, analyze, and interpret programmatic data from enterprise systems (e.g., blood management and medical data systems); develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making; identify trends, risks, and performance gaps; provide actionable recommendations; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality control of all data deliverables.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Transformation. Support development and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the client’s strategic plan; conduct organizational development and operational assessments to improve performance and efficiency; facilitate process re-engineering efforts and recommend cost-effective solutions; develop performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Executive Communication and Stakeholder Engagement. Prepare executive briefings, reports, and presentations for senior military and civilian leadership; translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights; participate in program management meetings and working groups; build collaborative relationships with client leadership and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Business Operations and Management Support. Provide management analytics and administrative support to client leadership; research and analyze policies, procedures, and organizational structures; recommend operational improvements to enhance mission effectiveness; support development of documentation, reporting frameworks, and records management practices.
  • Continuous Process Improvement. Identify opportunities to automate or streamline manual processes; apply industry best practices in business analysis, data visualization, and process modeling; support quality assurance and performance monitoring efforts.
  • Support other duties, as assigned.
