As a Senior Brand Manager, Innovation Marketing, you’ll drive innovation plans that deliver results for iconic cereal brands such as Special K, Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran and Frosted Mini Wheats! We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious and constantly looking for ways to innovate beyond the status quo. You’ll use your analytical skills to identify and solve problems that others may not realize exist. You’ll use your collaboration skills to work closely with Brand Marketing and other members of the cross-functional team such as Insights, Sales, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance. This is a Hybrid role. The person must commute within 200 miles of our Battle Creek, Michigan Headquarters and will be expected to be in office one consecutive Tuesday/Wednesday each month. This job requires some travel (up to 10%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven ability to set strategy and execute in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments, driving agility, leading change, and mobilizing cross‑functional teams to address evolving market needs.
  • Demonstrated strength across core marketing competencies, including positioning, brand development, innovation, and project leadership.
  • Significant experience managing P&L and product portfolios, with a track record of success across multiple brands.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of brand marketing experience.
  • Prior experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, preferably within food or beverage.
  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or master’s degree in marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning – Own the brand’s 3–5-year innovation vision and roadmap by bringing an insight and data‑backed point of view, translating strategy into clear priorities and actions.
  • Idea Development – Lead end‑to‑end innovation from insight to concept to launch, translating consumer and market insights to deliver ideas aligned with the brand’s strategy and growth ambitions.
  • Innovation Business Management – Own the business management of innovation projects, leading cross‑functional commercial readiness to ensure strong at‑shelf and in‑market execution.
  • Solution Implementation – Apply analytical rigor and marketing fundamentals to identify challenges, develop solutions, and execute innovation plans that drive results.
