About The Position

The Sr Billing Lead will align with Global Billing Manager on operations and governance of the company’s billing function for Tubs and Phoenix Business Units. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in invoicing and revenue recognition across all regions, aligning with local regulations while supporting global business objectives. This role will drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in billing processes while partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, IT, and Operations to deliver seamless customer billing experience. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in billing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in leading billing operations in a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing compliance
  • Experience with ERP and billing systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, Salesforce and High Radius is a Plus).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Process Leadership and Billing Manager to execute the billing strategy to support company growth and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage billing teams, ensuring consistent standards while accommodating local compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Finance leadership on revenue assurance, forecasting, and financial close processes.
  • Oversee end-to-end billing processes for Tubs and Phoenix: ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant invoicing.
  • Establish controls and audit mechanisms to safeguard billing accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, GST, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contracts are billable and aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor billing performance, accuracy, and cycle times.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
