About your role: As a Senior Billing Analyst in Finance Shared Services, you ensure accurate, timely billing and revenue reconciliation for complex client contracts. You collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales to interpret agreements, configure billing, and resolve issues while strengthening financial controls. You also drive continuous improvement by evaluating workflows and implementing intelligent automation to enhance client experience and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of accounting and/or billing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and formula creation)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and military.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing contract fees and payment terms to validate billing accuracy and contractual alignment.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients addressing invoice-related inquiries.
  • Experience with SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) billing and revenue processes.
  • Experience designing or leveraging automation/workflow tools (e.g., Power BI or Alteryx).
  • Experience establishing governance and change adoption practices for new AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end revenue assurance for an assigned client group, including contract setup, data preparation, invoice generation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
  • Interpret contract terms and pricing schedules; set-up billing rules and validate data to produce accurate invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Apply artificial intelligence (AI) solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Power BI to streamline invoice creation, contract analysis, and data extraction.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows; design and implement scalable, system-supported solutions using advanced analytics and intelligent automation.
  • Monitor billing exceptions and controls; investigate discrepancies and drive issue resolution.
  • Support annual audit and quarterly review requests by assembling evidence, addressing inquiries, and implementing control improvements.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures to capture process changes and enable consistent execution.
