About The Position

The Benefits Analyst II plays a crucial part in delivering best-in-class benefits offerings that suit the needs of our people and meet them wherever they are in their health & well-being journey. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working with employee benefits & retirement plans
  • Strong foundational understanding of 401(k) retirement and health benefit plan principles and compliance requirements
  • Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills; strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening capabilities and attention to detail; proactive approach to communication
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-changing, highly collaborative environment alongside experience working in a matrix environment
  • Ability to effectively lead prioritization of workload and meet deadlines through project management
  • Process driven and methodical in approach to implementing programs & solutions
  • Intermediate level expertise in Google Tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides) & Microsoft Office (specifically, Microsoft Excel)
  • Experience working with retirement plan administration systems required
  • Experience working with SAP & ARIBA tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Fidelity Plan Sponsor Workstation (PSW), preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of company health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life/disability, health savings and spending accounts, educational reimbursement and 401K/retirement plans
  • Ensure all benefit programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) comply with federal and state regulations (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, FMLA) including support of annual nondiscrimination and compliance testing
  • Administer 401(k) and pension plans in compliance with plan documents and federal/state laws
  • Reconcile plan assets and contributions; support plan audits, addressing findings and resolving discrepancies
  • Partner with vendors, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting, audits, valuations, and special projects
  • Provide exceptional support to employees regarding benefit & retirement program inquiries, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered promptly
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations regarding escalated benefits & retirement matters involving internal and external partners
  • Assist in preparation of reports related to benefit plans, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in tracking benefit costs, preparing benefit cost analysis, and summarizing employee benefits data
  • Conduct research and troubleshoot matters pertaining to invoicing and invoice reconciliation
  • Maintain and develop relationships with internal partners, third party administrators and external vendors
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement changes effectively
  • Assist with matters pertaining to global retirement plans
  • Maintain retirement plan records and files
  • Assist in special projects pertaining to US Benefits programs
