About The Position

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.The Senior Benefits Analyst leads the day-to-day operations of our group benefits programs. This role is responsible for resolving employee benefit inquiries, improving processes, and providing technical support to ensure effective program delivery. Additionally, the role manages benefits administration both internally and with external vendors, and supports the implementation of key benefits-related projects. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing end-to-end benefits programs, including experience with self-funded plans, with strong expertise in strategy, design, and administration
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, including open enrollment, plan configuration, and reporting
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess programs and interpret benefits data and trends
  • Proven ability to design and implement thoughtful, innovative benefits programs
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate evolving regulations with flexibility and sound judgment
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex matters with discretion
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, and collaborate effectively across stakeholders
  • A customer-focused, solutions-oriented mindset, with strong judgment on when to escalate vs. resolve independently

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations and administration of benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a strong employee experience
  • Manage vendor and broker relationships, including selection, performance oversight, renewals, contracts, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA), monitoring changes and mitigating risk
  • Analyze benefits data, utilization, and cost trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead the implementation and communication of new or updated benefit programs, plans, and policies
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications and educational materials, including open enrollment and new hire orientation
  • Oversee data integrations, file feeds, and audits across HRIS and carrier systems to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement on benefits administration, vendor management, and eligibility reconciliation
  • Research market trends and recommend enhancements to plan design, offerings, and overall employee experience
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while resolving complex benefits inquiries
