About The Position

The Senior Automation Analyst is a strategic and hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, governing, and scaling enterprise automation solutions across banking operations. This role extends beyond individual automation development to include solution architecture, standards definition, cross-functional leadership, and mentoring of automation resources. This position partners closely with business leaders, IT, risk, and compliance teams to ensure automation initiatives are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Automation Analyst plays a key role in shaping the automation roadmap, reducing operational risk, and maximizing return on automation investments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Science, Decision Science, or related field.
  • Seven (5) or more years of progressive experience in automation, RPA, or application development.
  • Experience leading or architecting enterprise-scale automation solutions.
  • Advanced experience with Power Automate or similar RPA platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of automation architecture, security, and governance.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments, preferably banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise automation and RPA platforms (Power Automate), including solution architecture and best practices.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex automation initiatives, from opportunity identification through design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Analyze complex business processes and translate them into scalable, secure, and resilient automation solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations using APIs and web services to connect automation solutions with core systems, applications, and third-party platforms.
  • Define and maintain automation standards, frameworks, governance models, and reusable components to ensure scalability and consistency.
  • Partner with business units, IT, risk, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet performance, security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish monitoring, reporting, and alerting mechanisms to ensure reliability and performance of automation solutions.
  • Review, approve, and provide guidance on technical specifications and automation designs created by other analysts.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise automation roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
