We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Applications Support Specialist to join our Technology team. This role is located in Lake Mary. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Perform moderate to complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. Maintain and support applications and their operating environments, including responding to alerts and performing root cause analysis using established procedures and documentation. Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup, monitor applications, and respond to incidents promptly. Lead or partner with other team members to analyze moderate to complex issues, perform ongoing health checks and validations after changes or significant incidents, and provide input and recommendations for technical solutions. Design and implement automation for manual processes and escalate issues to second level application or infrastructure support when necessary. Mentor or provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the achievement of related teams' objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
