Designed to inform brand strategies with real-time insights, Hearts & Science is a data-driven marketing agency with expert media planning and buying capabilities, among other services that include shopper marketing, marketing innovation and content activation. The Senior Associate, OOH is responsible for day-to-day account service and media buying, which includes planning, buying and tracking of out-of-home media plans. The Senior Associate is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space and available media research. As the day-to-day steward on assigned brands, the Senior Associate will develop and maintain a deep knowledge of their clients’ business over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2 years of media planning/buying experience, with a preference for out-of-home expertise
  • Demonstrated success in managing media campaigns and client deliverables in a professional setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients
  • Solid understanding of media planning fundamentals and industry best practices
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with current media trends, tools, and innovations in the OOH space

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, writing, and presentation of strategic OOH media plans and recommendations for existing and prospective clients
  • Manage day-to-day OOH account responsibilities, including planning, negotiating, buying, and campaign execution
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive activity and marketplace developments to inform planning strategies
  • Identify and assess non-traditional and emerging OOH opportunities aligned with client goals
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, agency partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Respond to client requests including plan and budget changes, and provide relevant marketplace insights
  • Oversee market inspections and on-site reviews of OOH programs with vendors and clients, as appropriate
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and support the finance team to ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Stay current on OOH trends, innovations, research methodologies, and media landscape shifts
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of non-traditional OOH media companies and offerings
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings and presentations
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with OOH sales representatives and media owners
