About The Position

Our IT Senior Associate will work on both software and hardware issues in conjunction with our outsourced IT resource. The Senior Associate will be the primary person to manage the relationship, proactively highlight issues, ensure timely resolution of issues and improve systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the various systems required: Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Administration (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of systems preferred: Workday, Salesforce, Campfire, BlueCurve, PPT Productivity, Think-Cell, Zoom, LogMeIn, Bloomberg Terminal

Responsibilities

  • Audit current systems and identify critical gaps in technology & propose cost-effective and scalable solutions
  • Escalate and manage IT issues with our external vendor, ensure all staff has the appropriate hardware and software for their function
  • Manage vendor management and Written Information Security Program
  • Train staff on appropriate cyber security issues, policies and procedures
  • Manage external software vendors and contracts. Ensure new staff are appropriately trained to use correct software
  • Work internally to support software cohesion including Salesforce, Workday, Zoom, Microsoft Products
  • Own SharePoint governance and administration, including site design, permissions, document management standards, version control, and lifecycle management; ensure SharePoint is organized, secure, actively maintained, and used as the firm’s system of record where appropriate
  • Internally manage IT projects (office expansions, hardware replacement/upgrades, etc.)
  • Work with various offices to help support IT functionality and ensure consistency in IT suite
  • Make recommendations to firm leadership on enhancements or changes to align with best practices in the industry
  • Manage all Conference room updates (software and hardware)
  • Check all conference room tech daily to ensure it is fully operational (Brookland, Shaw, Georgetown, NoMa)
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues for all team members in the DC office
  • Troubleshoot software issues for the Leadership Team
  • Manage internet/firewall issues in the DC office, work with external IT to manage and mitigate issues with additional office space
  • Manage all software
  • Escalate issues to Miles IT when appropriate
  • Manage user permissions and access rights in compliance with security policies
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and data security procedures
  • Create and Manage distribution lists
  • Create and manage all physical IT inventory and software licensing
