About The Position

The Senior Associate, IT Digital Workplace will develop and deliver enterprise solutions by primarily using Microsoft Technologies, such as Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive to help guide the company with best practices and methodologies in a multi-cloud Azure/AWS environment. This role is based in our Jersey City, NJ office on a hybrid basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline with 5 years of professional experience.
  • Experience building solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model driven), Dataverse, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, SharePoint online, Power BI.
  • Prior involvement in Power Platform CoE.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills with the ability to articulate business problems and existing workflows/processes to document, visualize create solutions for efficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in .NET (required), Python (desired).
  • Proficient in SQL (required) and NoSQL (desired).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge and experience in the insurance industry (desired).
  • Experience with CICD, Git (desired).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting/JavaScript, HTML and CSS (desired).
  • Proficient with Linux systems (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Implement a secure, scalable, and flexible document management taxonomy using SharePoint.
  • Build, maintain and expand capabilities of the Fortitude Intranet.
  • Implement modern approval workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline manual workflows.
  • Partner with Legal & Compliance for document management and regulatory filings.
  • Document best practices for Microsoft 365 and Office 365 and conduct ongoing learning sessions across the company.
  • Work within an agile environment to build components based on an established design.
  • Author, test and document application components and configurations to deliver project-based work.
  • Comply with and enforce security risk controls related to privacy, security audits and certifications.
  • Gradual architectural ownership of Power Platform tenants/environments.
  • Build subject matter expertise and relationships to serve as a trainer and advisor for cross functional teams on the Microsoft technology toolsets.
