About The Position

The Enterprise Digital Workplace Lead Systems Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for the architecture, design, and governance of Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity platforms. This role drives enterprise‑scale digital workplace strategy, including Copilot and automation initiatives, while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable solutions that enhance the employee experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years supporting Microsoft 365 in large (10,000+ user) enterprise environments
  • 7+ years of M365 collaboration architecture (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • 10+ years in mid‑to‑large enterprise IT environments
  • 5+ years supporting global, multi‑geo deployments
  • Microsoft 365/O365, Entra ID, Azure, Copilot, Active Directory
  • Power Platform and PowerShell automation
  • Zero Trust and least‑privilege security models
  • Windows and SQL Server environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Analytical, proactive, and customer‑focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in high‑impact, fast‑paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

  • Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL v4
  • Google Workspace coexistence experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, and governance for Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Project Server, Copilot).
  • Define and execute enterprise collaboration and AI (Copilot) strategy and roadmaps.
  • Design secure, scalable solutions aligned to Zero Trust and compliance standards (HIPAA, FERPA, global retention).
  • Drive automation and workflow optimization using the Power Platform and PowerShell.
  • Oversee cloud migrations and multi‑geo collaboration environments.
  • Provide L3 support, platform monitoring, performance KPIs, and 24/7 on‑call coverage.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
