About The Position

Curinos is currently seeking a Senior Associate II to support the Commercial Banking business. You will help drive the accelerated growth of our commercial practice. The ideal candidate will have strong institutional knowledge, understand sales metrics, performance, and management, as well as effectively communicate Client needs and Market Opportunities for future product enhancements. This is a hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located in the New York City metropolitan area.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience; backgrounds in the following strongly preferred:
  • Commercial Banking LoB experience
  • Familiarity with deposits, cash sweeps, investments, and bank/firm P&L drivers
  • Consulting, project management, and/or product development experience; ideally with senior exposure
  • Exceptional Data and Analytical capabilities
  • Business Development/high-growth mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for Curinos to deliver value to clients through our product offerings in new ways
  • Expert communicator with strong engagement skills with colleagues and clients at any level
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities

  • Acting as primary business support for Commercial line of business leader - in addition to being a trusted advisor, you will serve as the Commercial SME with internal and external teams in leadership’s absence and have primary responsibility for monitoring progress on internal and external projects to meet company and client goals
  • Contributing to the success of consulting projects and business development activities - including defining the issue, developing hypotheses, conducting analyses to validate the hypothesis, designing analytical tools, and formulating project deliverables
  • Recognizing new opportunities stemming from current or past project work and data to help pursue additional project work
  • Developing and maintaining a professional network with clients
  • Collaborating and acting as a mentor to junior staff to help them perform at a level that will nurture professional growth
  • Creative Problem Solving - Create and shape the future. Approach problems with curiosity, diverse perspectives, and a scientific spirit
  • Leading with numbers - Using them to create cogent and empirically based arguments; Extremely comfortable with analytics to test hypotheses
