As a Senior Associate, Client Services (Sports/Retail), you are a vital individual contributor responsible for executing end-to-end campaign scopes within the dynamic world of sports marketing. Under the guidance of senior leadership, you will own the lifecycle of influencer partnerships — from initial identification and outreach to final reporting. You bring a genuine passion for the sports industry and an understanding of its unique culture, fandom, and media landscape. You are a meticulous operator who sets the standard for excellence for junior team members. You operate with humility, remain open to feedback, and possess a deep curiosity for the "why" behind every campaign.

Requirements

  • Proven Individual Contributor: You have 3+ years of agency experience with a solid track record in managing budgets, timelines, and content briefing — ideally with exposure to sports clients, leagues, or athletic brands.
  • Sports Enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for the sports industry — whether through professional experience, personal fandom, or both. You follow athletes, teams, and sports media closely, and you understand how sports culture intersects with brand storytelling and influencer marketing.
  • Data-Driven Storyteller: You have a strong grasp of campaign metrics and are developing the "art of the narrative" to turn data into meaningful client insights, including performance tied to sports moments and sponsorship windows.
  • Marketing Scholar: You are an active student of the marketing mix, staying ahead of influencer trends, industry shifts, and the evolving intersection of sports, media rights, and social content.
  • Reliable Professional: You assume positive intent in all interactions and aim for excellence in day-to-day operations, serving as a role model for Associate-level staff.
  • Culturally Immersed: You understand that influencer marketing is human-first. You are excited to participate in social company initiatives, client-facing events, and sports activations — from game-day experiences to tentpole cultural moments.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Deliverables: Own influencer identification and rationale, outreach, contracting, kickoff briefings, and ongoing relationship management — with a focus on sports talent, athletes, and sports-adjacent creators.
  • Campaign Execution: Manage the details of campaigns, including content review, pushing content live, and maintaining accurate internal budget trackers across sports-focused activations such as live events, game-day moments, and seasonal tentpoles.
  • Strategic Support: Assist Managers with client relations by preparing status documents, tracking ongoing campaign measurement, and synthesizing reporting data — including sports-specific KPIs like event attendance, viewership tie-ins, and fan engagement metrics.
  • Proactive Optimization: Monitor campaigns daily to track success, identify potential roadblocks early, and propose creative optimization ideas — staying attuned to the fast-moving news cycle in sports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to high client retention across sports brand and league partnerships.
