The Senior Associate, Benefits role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United Kingdom within the Global Benefits department. The Global Benefits team supports employees across a broad international footprint, including the US, Canada, Bermuda, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, and additional EMEA and APAC locations. The team aims to deliver a consistent and high-quality benefits and wellbeing experience through operational rigor, digital innovation, data-driven insights, and strong partnerships. This Associate role is crucial to the global model, with a primary focus on EMEA support. As a Senior Benefits Associate, you will ensure international benefits programs operate effectively, compliantly, and in alignment with long-term strategy. You will manage core operational processes, act as a regional Subject Matter Expert (SME), provide guidance to partners, support renewal cycles, contribute to plan design discussions, and identify opportunities to enhance the benefits framework, thereby strengthening the employee experience and advancing the company's digitally enabled benefits strategy.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in benefits, HR operations, or related disciplines, with the ability to independently navigate practices across multiple markets, particularly in Europe.
  • Strong operational rigor, consistently applying accuracy, organization, and attention to detail to processes, documentation, and vendor interactions.
  • Comfort and proficiency in working with digital tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, and other platforms to support record‑keeping, reporting, and insights generation.
  • Clear, professional communication with employees, internal HR partners, and external vendors across geographies and time zones, including comfort advising as a regional SME.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, capable of independently managing logistics, communications, and stakeholder interactions for both benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
  • A digital and process‑improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and help drive transformation in benefits delivery.
  • A high degree of autonomy and sound judgment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across countries with varying requirements.
  • Adaptability and problem‑solving capability, particularly in situations requiring interpretation, clarification, or navigation of ambiguous processes.
  • Effective collaboration with cross‑functional partners, fostering partnerships with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Risk, and vendor teams to ensure strong end‑to‑end delivery.
  • Comfort assisting with plan design, renewals, vendor evaluations, and broader benefits strategy in partnership with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Managing end‑to‑end benefit lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes, with an understanding of regional requirements.
  • Supporting and enhancing pension administration, ensuring compliance while advising on plan improvements and monitoring contribution accuracy.
  • Maintaining and validating benefits and leave‑related data across systems and vendor platforms, with strong data stewardship and problem‑solving skills.
  • Coordinating and overseeing leave administration activities, including handling complex cases, documentation, escalations, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Owning the processing, reconciliation, and review of benefits invoices, and partnering with Finance to improve accuracy and predictability.
  • Leading the coordination of wellbeing sessions and activities for the region, including scheduling, logistics, vendor management, and communications.
  • Analyzing data to produce insights, dashboards, and trends that inform decision making, strategy development, and regional leadership reporting.
  • Supporting compliance activities, documentation updates, vendor governance, and audit readiness across multiple countries.
  • Responding to employee and HR partner inquiries and providing expert‑level guidance with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and empathy.
  • Driving process improvements by applying a digital, operational excellence, and continuous‑improvement mindset to enhance tools, workflows, and employee experience.
  • Contributing to annual benefits renewals, supporting plan evaluation, benchmarking, and vendor discussions, and helping shape recommendations.
  • Participating in plan design conversations, sharing regional perspectives, market trends, and employee insights to strengthen global consistency and competitiveness.
  • You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities, and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
