About The Position

SvN Architects + Planners is looking for Revit-capable Senior Architects with experience in multi-residential and/or mixed-use design for a number of unique interdisciplinary projects. This position is both design and technically focused, requiring an individual who can synthesize strong design intent with technical resolution. SvN is a multidisciplinary, regenerative design practice comprising a diverse team of architects, urban planners, urban designers and landscape architects. Since our inception over 40 years ago, we continue to shape the built environment in regions, cities, and towns across North America and worldwide for the betterment of people and planet. SvN currently operates in studios in Toronto, Vancouver, and Mexico City, and has a newly established practice in San Francisco. SvN is part of the 10N collective of urbanism, architecture, and design experts brought together by Egis Group. The anticipated focus of this role over the next year horizon is Transit Oriented Development Design. In this role, the mission would be to lead a small team of architects and planners in delivering an innovative development concept, integrated with rapid transit, successfully coordinate with internal and external counterparts and stakeholders, and contribute to project framework development. As a senior team member, part of the role would be managing and mentoring younger team members. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work independently in a hybrid setting while collaborating effectively with a Vancouver-based team. Critical thinking is at the core of our approach to design. We encourage design input at all levels and are looking for candidates who will invest in projects with the same passion that we bring to our work.
