Senior Antenna Engineer - Lunar Permanence
About The Position

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you will help define requirements and develop the optimum antenna system for various lunar landers Special Mentions: Relocation provided
Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant antenna design experience
- Proficient with electromagnetic simulation tools used in antenna design (HFSS, GRASP etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with developing antennas for harsh environments
- Experience with product development
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and antenna fundamentals
- Proficiency in designing various antenna types such as horns, reflectors, microstrip patches etc.
